MORRIS B. LEVINE                     Bio and Experience Summary    

Morris is the President of MBL Associates LLC, a private national security consulting venture.  His experience in the fields of intelligence operations and national security began as an Air Force officer flying electronic warfare reconnaissance missions in Europe and the Middle East.  Upon departure from active duty, he joined the National Security Agency and then transferred to commercial industry supporting the development of reconnaissance aircraft.  Re-recruited by the NSA, he returned to government service for the next 25 years in a variety of roles and locations in the US and overseas.  His expertise includes foreign languages, research and development, technical operations, cyber and cybersecurity and various advanced technologies.  Following government service he became the VP of the ISR Corporation, establishing their Washington-area office supporting the federal, state and local law enforcement communities with the development and fielding of sensor systems.  He then became the co-founder of InterTech Corporation supporting various elements of the US intelligence community.  Recruited by the Scitor Corporation, he left InterTech to become the senior systems engineer for classified systems until 2003, when he was drafted by the then-Director NSA, General Michael V. Hayden (later the Director CIA) to return to NSA to lead a joint DoD/Intelligence Community office.  Six years later he established MBL Associates as a consultant and adviser to private industry on national security and intelligence.  In the ensuing years, he has joined the boards of several companies, most recently Airbus Defense and Space/Government Systems, and also has been recruited by private equity investors and corporations to pursue due diligence activities related to investment and acquisition.  He continued his relationship with the Scitor Corporation's Maryland Division as its Director and until 2013 as their business strategy consultant.  MBL Associates LLC currently has consulting arrangements with several corporations supporting the Intelligence Community.  Morris continued to support the NSA Research Directorate on a part-time basis as part of NSA's Standby Active Reserve program.  He is also a founding member of Marble Investments, a private investment group. 

Awards and recognition include the Air Medal, the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal (twice), recognition by the President as a Meritorious Executive and by the Director National Intelligence as a Distinguished Analyst.  He has degrees from the University of Missouri and a Masters Degree in Aerospace from the University of Southern California, along with postgraduate work at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
